Honing, fine-tuning, emboldening, clarifying, sifting, strengthening, empowering, creating, blessing.

Every one of these words can fit some or all of your backside of the desert experiences. Valleys so deep you were sure you would die there.

But you made it through. Take stock of that today as you assess what your life is like right today. Are you in a more pleasant place? Remember there are valleys that appear high up on the mountainside. The view is clearer, the sight more majestic, where you’ll find navigation easier.

Pray for the plateaus and mountaintop jaunts as well — know you have what it takes to journey through each leg of your personal journey.

Today ask God to brighten the path you’re on with insight, encouragement and just the right people to help you over the next hill. The individuals who will pray with you, stay with you and offer what is needed

Today’s Affirmation: ‘Though my valleys be low and the mountain seem so very high, I seek wisdom, insight and help for my journey. I trust God to bring exactly what I need into my life today for this leg of the journey.’
